National Parents’ Council Post Primary and the NCCA New Junior Cycle Parent Information Evenings 2013 : The National Parents’ Council Post Primary in conjunction with the NCCA, will host Information evenings nationwide for parents on the upcoming changes to the Junior Cycle. These evenings are open to all parents/guardians and parent association members to attend. All events are free to attend and light refreshments will be available on arrival. If you would like to join us, please email information@npcpp.ie to register. Also on the night, NPCpp will give a brief outline about their work since 2003 (10 year plan) and future strategies. Meetings will begin at 7.30 with refreshments from 7pm and finish by 9.15pm. Full details on dates of meetings etc can be found  in the Parents Association link above. March 12th 2013- Meeing in  Creggan Court Hotel, N6 Centre, Athlone, Co Westmeath.

Scor: Congratulations to Ms Reynolds and Valene, Zoe, Reveina, Avril and Sarah for reaching the Scór na nÓg  All Ireland Final last Saturday in Derry. They performed brilliantly again on the night but the voting didnt go our way this year. Well done all their performances to date.

Basketball: The first and second year girls basketball teams both had comprehensive victories  last Thursday over the first and second years from Mercy  Kilbeggan  and will meet Moate in the next round this coming week where we wish them all the best.

Credit Union Art Competition Results : Well done to our students in the Cluny Centre   on receiving prizes in the Credit Union Poster competition and the Athlone Advertiser Christmas art competition.  Credit union poster competition:1st Marita Flynn . 2nd Rory Claffey .Highly Commended Mark Murphy,  Niamh Sheenan and Luke lynam .
Athlone advertiser Christmas Art competition : 1st place Mark Murphy. 2nd place Marita Flynn . 3rd place Oisin lowry .

Junior Rugby:Well done to the Junior Squad who beat Loughrea in a match last Friday .More details to follow.
