GALLEN CS WIN SCOR LEINSTER FINAL FOR 3RD YEAR IN A ROW
Gallen CS have the midas touch in the Leinster Scor na nOg in recent years and they won their third title in a row on Saturday last in the Erins Isle complex in Finglas Dublin.Under the direction of Director of Music Ms Deborah Reynolds , the girls once again came up trumps with beautiful renditions of “The Ballad of Michael Collins “and “Eoghainin o Ragadain ” ,wowing all those present.The Gallen CS group comprised of Valene Greer [ who was also runner up in solo singing to a fine singer from Camross] , Zoe Rooney,Avril Spain , Revina Devery and Sarah Kenny. The All-Ireland Final takes place on Saturday March 1st at 2pm in the Royal Theatre TF in Castlebar.If you wish to support our group on the day please contact Gallen CS for bus / ticket bookings. BEST OF LUCK – to our u16 girls basketball team as they bid for glory in the All Ireland u16 Basketball Final in Tallaght this Thursday.The game against St Josephs Charlestown begins at 1.30 pm in the National Basketball arena in Tallaght.
