Transition Trip to Barcelona May 2013: One of the many highlights go Transition year was out trip to Barcelona with Mr Dunican, Mrs Finnegan, Ms Claffey and Ms MacDermott. In the lovely heat we got to see Camp Nou home to FC Barcelona, the Olympic Stadium which is holding the World x games in a few weeks, Sagrada Família Church and Park Güell famous for show casing the work of world famous architect Antoni Gaudí. We did a cable car tour over the beautiful harbour and saw the city from hundreds of feet up in the air. However for many of us to go to Port Aventura and go on the thrilling and terrifying rides was brilliant. Other memories we will take with us is the fun we had each night in the hotel pool , and the famous victory in soccer we had over a team of lads from Senegal. Thanks to all who made this trip such fun for us all.
Gaisce: Well done to all the Transition year students who successfully completed the physical challenge as part of their Gaisce Challenge.
