Junior Certificate Results:
Well done to all the students on their excellent results in the Junior Certificate. Hard work is always rewarded . We look forward to our Academic Awards night at the end of October where we will honour all our students who excelled in their exams this year.
Sports:
Ladies Football training resumed last Tuesday at 4 pm with Mrs Scully and Ms Hough who were pleased to see a good turn out. The Junior Rugby team have a match this Wednesday while Alan Mulhall and John Leahy will commence training with the senior boys football team this week. Charlie Cooper visited out school last Friday with the 6 Nations Trophy and visited some classes and some students were happy to stand in for some photos!
TYs
James Duignan from Youth Connect spoke to all Transition years about their rights as young workers and things to watch out for while on work experience later this term. James also spoke about an Equality in the work place project that some students might be interested in participating in. Fencing for TY 1 resumes this Wednesday afternoon.
School Mass
All are welcome to join us this Wednesday at 11.30 for our Opening School Mass in the Parish Church.
