ERP Junk Kouture Regional Finalists.
As explained in our weekly news last week we have eight entries who have been accepted into the regional finals of this competition, being held on 25th March in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone. Senior Football
Last Friday saw the senior football team win our second consecutive Leinster final against Carnew of Wicklow. The match was played in the Park Ratheniska GAA grounds outside Portlaoise . In a sporting match Gallen took the lead and was never seriously threatened, the final score being Gallen C.S.1 -16 ,Carnew 1-4. They will meet the Connaught champions in two weeks time playing either Davitt College Castlebar orColaiste Na Coiribe Galway in the All Ireland semi final on March 24.Well done to all the team and thanks to all the supporters who travelled to Ratheniska for this Leinster Final. Onwards and Upwards Lads!!!!

Basketball
Our successful run in girls’ basketball continued this week as our first and second year teams had victories over Mullingar Community College. 1st years: Gallen CS 30 Mercy Kilbeggan 2. Gallen CS 32 Mullingar CC 14. 2nd years: Gallen CS 26 Mercy Kilbeggan 14. Gallen CS 24 Mullingar CC 19. The first years have won six games out of seven. The 2nd years who won all their games , top their group and play Colaiste Iosagain Portarlington in the Midland semi this Thursday. Well done to Ms Mc Keogh for all her work with both teams.

Ladies u14 Football
Well done to our u 14 school team who have qualified for the
Leinster Quarter Final by beating St Finians Mullingar and to Rachel
Seery , Aoife Corbett , Ellie mc Evoy , Roisin Egan and Emer Nally who
are representing Offaly at county level.
