ROISIN EGAN-All at Gallen CS heartily congratulate this multi-talented sportswoman on winning the TG4 Ladies Leinster Young Player of the Year Award. Roisin was presented with her award at a function in the City West hotel. Roisin is an All-Ireland Winner in three sports , camogie , ladies football and Basketball. JUNIOR LADIES Gallen CS made it 3 wins from 3 in the Leinster Junior Championship by virtue of this 6-12 to 3-5 win over Scoil Mhuire Longford. They qualify for the semi-finals and the Seniors qualify for the Leinster Quarter Finals. CONNACHT JUNIOR LEAGUE RUGBY. Well done to our Junior rugby team who defeated Clifden CS 45-5 to qualify for the semi-finals. A standout performance came from Gallen CS own version of Jamie Heaslip , Ethan Rowe mc Cormack who scored four tries. The team was – Nathan Poland , David Nally , Jamie Kelly, Luke Mangan , Michael Egan , Sean Flynn , Max Freehand , Ethan Rowe mc Cormack [ 4 tries]Lorcan Daly , Conor Kenny , Sean Ibbotson , Aaron o Reilly[ 1 try] , David Gavin , Griffin Dunican and Ruairi Carroll.
